Jody Lakota
PrincipalJody Lakota is a principal at the Alexander Group and is responsible for leading the marketing and client development teams. Under Jody’s leadership, these teams work to enhance the firm’s brand visibility, drive awareness of the firm’s service offerings and foster engagement within the Alexander Group community.
Jody is a seasoned marketing professional with a proven track record of driving brand growth and market expansion. With over three decades of experience, she has developed a reputation for her strategic vision, creative flair, and ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams. Her background includes product marketing, professional services marketing and account-based marketing from start-up companies to Fortune 100.
Throughout her career, Jody has demonstrated a passion for building and strengthening brands across diverse industries, including financial services, technology and healthcare. With a deep background in the professional services industry, Jody joins the Alexander Group from ZS, where she led growth marketing efforts for industry marketing programs, as well as the AI, Digital & Technology, and Supply Chain and Manufacturing practice groups. Previously, at PwC, she spearheaded marketing efforts for the Private Equity sector. Before PwC, Jody integrated and led marketing for all sectors in the financial services industry at RSM. Her extensive experience also includes roles at Van Kampen Investments/Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Calamos Investments and Morningstar.
