The Business Analyst (BA) supports the consulting team. They conduct data analysis including basic statistical analysis, assist with client interviews and related fact-finding initiatives, and apply logic and Alexander Group methodologies to provide recommendations to clients. The BA also prepares initial drafts of high quality, error-free deliverables and participates in client meetings to review and present analytical approaches and interpret results.

The Associate Consultant (AC) is an integral part of the consulting team. They create and use analytical models to simulate or forecast business problems and results, conduct extensive data analysis using Excel, participate in client interviews and meetings as well as related fact-finding initiatives, and apply logic and Alexander Group methodologies to provide recommendations to clients.

Associate Commercial Data Scientist — New York, NY, Chicago, IL or San Francisco, CA
The Associate Commercial Data Scientist will be client-facing. The Associate Commercial Data Scientist will work with project teams to present and interpret statistical analyses in business contexts. The Associate Commercial Data Scientist will be expected to interpret and tune machine learning algorithms, work in big data environments, apply statistical methods to develop robust solutions to client problems, have strong communication skills to communicate project findings to both internal and external stakeholders, and participate in client meetings.

Commercial Data Scientist — New York, NY, Chicago, IL or San Francisco, CA
The Commercial Data Scientist is a hybrid business/data-science role that will collaborate with cross-functional teams, learning from both their direct peers in AGI’s Data Science function and from more business-oriented peers in AGI’s general consulting practice. This role will be client-facing – the Commercial Data Scientist will work with project teams to present and interpret statistical analyses and models in business contexts. The Senior Commercial Data Scientist is a hybrid business/data-science role that will collaborate with cross-functional, learning from both their direct peers in AGI’s Data Science function and from more business-oriented peers in AGI’s general consulting practice. This role will be client-facing – the Sr. Commercial Data Scientist will work with project teams to present and interpret statistical analyses and models in business contexts. The Sr. Commercial Data Scientist will be expected to independently interpret and tune machine learning algorithms, work in big data environments, apply statistical methods to develop robust solutions to client problems, have strong communication skills to communicate project findings to both internal and external stakeholders, and participate in client meetings.

The Consultant has a high level of engagement and accountability while becoming a subject matter expert. The Consultant works directly with client leaders in sales, marketing, finance and human resources to solve sales management issues and grow revenue. They participate in and lead client meetings to present consulting deliverables, and conduct client research including on-site interviews, market research and surveys. Our Consultants manage Business Analyst and Associate Consultant resources on project engagements.

The Client Relations Manager is responsible for engaging the existing client community, nurturing relationships and connecting Alexander Group to new contacts.
